The third system update was released today. Most notable change is the digital clock underneath the channel bar and new navigation options on the Wii Shop Channel.
Other changes to the menu include a Forecast Channel box showing current weather conditions, the Address Book can now be shifted using A+B and the "Today's Accomplishments" has moved from the Calendar in Message Board onto Message Board itself. There will also be more scrolling headlines.
The Wii Shop Channel also underwent a few changes, most notably the recommended titles on the welcome area, lists of popular titles and several different ways to search for the games.
Also, before updating, Nintendo warns those with modded Wiis that their console may cease to function after the update.
